Bifrost Sovereign: Building the Infrastructure for the Agentic Economy

We are building containerised sovereign compute designed for AI and agentic workloads. Here is why now, what we are building, and who it is for.

We are building Bifrost Sovereign, containerised sovereign compute designed for AI and agentic workloads.

Why Now

The AI infrastructure market is dominated by a few large cloud providers. For most use cases, this works. But for a growing segment of the market, it does not.

Enterprises with regulatory requirements cannot send sensitive data to third-party cloud providers. Financial services, healthcare, defence, legal: they have data residency obligations, compliance requirements, and security standards that mainstream cloud AI does not meet.

AI-native startups in regulated verticals face the same problem. They want to build AI products for enterprise customers, but their customers cannot use infrastructure that compromises data sovereignty.

Organisations building autonomous agents need infrastructure they can trust. When AI moves from answering questions to taking actions, the stakes are higher. Non-deterministic behaviour becomes a liability. Uncontrolled data flows become unacceptable.

This is a large and growing market. And it is underserved.

What We Are Building

Containerised Compute Dedicated containers with isolated compute and storage. Your workloads run on infrastructure you control, not shared resources managed by a third party.

Data Sovereignty Your data stays under your control. No cross-border data flows. No third-party access. Full compliance with data residency requirements.

Agentic Orchestration Infrastructure designed for autonomous agents, not just model inference. Support for multi-step workflows, tool use, and complex agentic patterns.

Deterministic Execution For enterprise AI, behaviour must be verifiable. Bifrost Sovereign supports deterministic agent execution with reproducible outputs, auditable actions, and verifiable behaviour.

Quantum-Safe Storage Long-term data protection against emerging cryptographic threats. Data stored today needs to remain secure for decades.

European Data Residency Full compliance with EU data protection requirements. Infrastructure located in Europe, operated under European law.

Who It Is For

Enterprise buyers in regulated industries: financial services, healthcare, defence, legal, professional services. Organisations with valuable AI use cases blocked by data sovereignty concerns.

AI startups building for enterprise customers. If your customers cannot use mainstream cloud AI, you need an alternative to offer them.

Developers building agentic applications for regulated verticals. The tooling to build agents that enterprises can actually deploy.

Current Status

Bifrost Sovereign is in active development with first containers planned for Q2 2026.

We are currently in conversations with enterprise buyers evaluating sovereign AI infrastructure, AI startups needing compliant infrastructure for their customers, and system integrators interested in channel partnerships.
